This is a great start to a new series! The mysterious beginning with QB and then later on the MORE mysterious QB still seeming somehow ageless..... What the..... ?????? Hmmmm, I can't wait to go and open up #2 asap! Somehow Liv just makes it impossible to get her books out of your head until you know all there is to know, and then you need more! :) She has yet to disappoint and I'll keep on reading and reviewing because I don't think disappointment from her is even possible!!Product details

I took a chance on this book because of the overall positive reviews. I was a bit worried at first because of Scarlett's character. She is shallow but seems to be humbled by her circumstances. Ethan's character is also dominant but not. He can't make up his mind if he wants her or not. I think the author is trying to imply an internal struggle but it misses the mark. I don't really think the characters are as well developed as they could be in this first book BUT it is an intriguing enough plot to give the second book a chance to improve my opinion.
Holy crap! This book is amazing! Suspenseful, Erotic and Drama! Your constantly trying to put the pieces together of why Scarlett's life has been turned upside-down with no help or supporters to go to. Her dad is in jail impending a trial with charges of setting up a bomb to explode at his corporation that killed twelve people. He's innocent, but Scarlett must get that proven from his lawyers to set him free. Meanwhile, she meets Ethan Koenig and allows him to help her through all this mess. She's suspicious of him, but more intrigued and lusts for him more. The things he has done to her and the things he does to her and for her are just mind blowing. You'll try to rationalize his mind way of thinking and just come up with a blank.
There is none stop action in this story and you will "Power" read through this series to get the answers! Liv Bennett always delivers nothing but the best stories! Amazing writer!👍📚💗
I'm enjoying this first book, but having read reviews
about the rest of the series, I'm hesitant about continuing
the rest of the series right now. I don't understand authors holding
readers hostage with series that could be done with one book.
With as many authors available with kindle it really isn't very smart.
After buying all five stories,I am finding out it's not the end, and it leaves
you hanging without the . Which is sad 😢 was looking forward the reading
the rest of the series but will now be reading other authors who can tell
a complete story in five books are less.
On the EDGE of my seat! I absolutely look forward to Liv's next series. The storylines are ALWAYS new, fresh, draw you in deeply and won't let you go! Scarlett's story starts out as if she is spoiled and needs a dose of reality but as the story unfolds we see into her past and understand. I want her to help her dad! And Ethan, what is his story, why does he want Scarlett? He wants to punish her or does he have feelings for her? I am looking forward to POWER 2 and to learn more about Esther too.

Scarlet Kapinksy has just lost everything. Her father recently charged and jailed for a crime he didn't commit, all her accounts and assests frozen and repossessed. Trying to find a new place to live with her last couple thousand of dollars, Scarlet stumbles across an ad for a room with free rent in exchange for household duties. Thanking her lucky stars, she immediately responds to the ad thinking she's just hit the jackpot.
Ethan Koenig is an extremely rich, powerful, resourceful and sexy as sin man. With a hidden agenda, he posts the ad for the rent free room specifically targeted at Scarlet. Ethan doesn't need a housekeeper, he has one of those. No, he's looking for someone to be on call for sex anytime, anyplace, with anyone he chooses for them. In exchange for Scarlet taking the role, this mysterious Ethan Koenig will aide her father's legal defense in getting his freedom back.
Scarlet is desperate to get her father out of jail and her riches back, so she hesitantly agrees. She soon learns she signed up for more than she bargained for.

A really blow minding story, didn't even realized when it finished and then i just wanted more!! I will certainly leave this review spoiler free so read freely cause this plot has so many wow moments by the twists, the secrets and it's preferably to read it and you'll understand what i'm saying. So once again after the Forget me not series the author created once more a fantastic storyline with uncommon main characters and that's the thing that won me from the beginning, you can't foresee what's going to happen next, what they'll do...
Ethan ..well you love him and hate him the same time for a variety of reasons, he sexy, gorgeous, Alpha dominant male but he is a very closed character no one can reach him (especially his heart) or see what he is truly planning...One thing for sure is that he is very powerful and has everything he desires.. or not??
Scarlett on other hand is a heroine you don't expect to read, she used to be spoil and yes she thinks as a princess but 'till the end i see her evolving, becoming a strong person who tries to read hidden words and solve puzzle many people wouldn't bother but she does, there were moments where i wanted to slap her and some other to hug her for the bad things in her life. She definitely gives a dynamic vibe to the story.
The plot is certainly a dirty game, the twists are explosive and the mystery make this book the perfect recipe and it's only the start i can't even imagine what's going to happen in next but from what i've seen so far, i expect thunders and tornadoes. Definitely recommend this beauty and i can't wait to read the next..i became obsessive with their story!!
